Certification Standards for Cosmosis Client Counselors Note: All our mentors are certified to at least group facilitator level. Certification as a CA Client Counselor Practitioner Primary Certification as a Practitioner signifies basic competency minimally required for supervised practice with individuals. The minimum academic requirement for certification as a Practitioner is a Cosmosis Certificate in One on One facilitation. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of appropriate competency in:
While no particular philosophical orientation is expected or required, candidates should also be familiar with the ideals and philosophy of the Cosmosis Academy and The Insight Foundation. In addition, candidates must demonstrate practical knowledge of the principles and application of COSMOSIS, experience and/or training in personal counseling, familiarity with and an understanding of comparative theologies, and evidence of personal stability and good character. Evidence of satisfactory demonstration of these requisites and skills may be established by successful completion of the formal Cosmosis Certification examinations. Private Practice Certified Cosmosis Practitioners may practice as Certified Members of the CA under the supervision of a CA Mentor. Supervision is normally conducted by submission of audio recording or written case study (with prior consent of the client) to a CA Mentor on a 3 monthly basis. Also regular contact shall be maintained with the CA mentor at the discretion of the CA mentor. Recorded or written commentary on the cases will be provided by the supervisor for which a small fee will be charged. Upon the submission of a minimum of ten cases over a period of at least two years of practice, or a two-year internship under CA supervision, Practitioners will be eligible to complete a CA Advanced Certification Training Program for Client Counselors. Upon the successful completion of that program, candidates will be granted Cosmosis Master Certification in Client Counseling.
Certification Standards for Cosmosis Group Facilitators Entry requirement for CA Group Practitioners is Certification as a CA Client Counselor Practitioner. Certification as a Group Practitioner signifies basic competency minimally required to work with groups energetically in both informal and formal settings. The minimum academic requirement for Certification as a Cosmosis Group Facilitator is a Cosmosis Diploma in Group Facilitation. In addition to demonstrated competency in basic Cosmosis Facilitation, CA Group Facilitators must demonstrate:
The requisite skills and experience for Certification as a CA Group Facilitator can be acquired through a CA training program. Documentation of other appropriate training or experience will be considered as recognition of prior learning at the discretion of the CA Faculty. Evidence of satisfactory demonstration of these skills may be established by successful completion of the formal Cosmosis Certification examinations. Informal Facilitation - The setting for informal group facilitation is usually a public venue, such as a bookstore, cafe, restaurant, library, shopping mall, or other public meeting place. The Facilitator is able to institute such a gathering on a regular basis and is able to facilitate and moderate a spontaneous spiritual discussion either of a preselected topic or of one selected by the group. The Facilitator does not lecture to the group but rather facilitates its philosophical/spiritual interchange and maintains its personal/spiritual growth character. The CA guidelines for informal group facilitation must be adhered to. Formal Facilitation - The setting for formal group facilitation is usually a private venue (corporation, government organisation, or other private group). The purpose of a formal Cosmosis gathering is to participate in a structured and focused discussion leading to a common resolution or outcome trending towards new knowing and ongoing personal spiritual growth.
Full Certification as a Master Group Practitioner will be granted to those Facilitators who can satisfactorily demonstrate the completion of at least two years experience as a Certified CA Group Facilitator and successful completion of the Advanced Diploma in Cosmosis Group Facilitation. The Advanced Diploma includes case studies of facilitated groups and testimonials stating demonstrated refinement and growth of members of the groups worked with. Certification Standards for Cosmosis Event Facilitators
Entry requirement for CA Group Practitioners is Certification as both a CA Client Counselor and Group Practitioner. Certification as an Event Practitioner signifies basic competency minimally required to work with larger groups energetically in both informal and formal settings. The minimum academic requirement for Certification as a Cosmosis Group Facilitator is a Cosmosis Diploma in Large Event Facilitation. In addition to demonstrated competency in basic Cosmosis Facilitation, CA Event Facilitators must demonstrate:
The requisite skills and experience for Certification as a CA Event Facilitator can be acquired through a CA training program. Documentation of other appropriate training or experience will be considered as recognition of prior learning at the discretion of the CA Faculty. Evidence of satisfactory demonstration of these skills may be established by successful completion of the formal Cosmosis Certification examinations. Informal larger group Facilitation The setting for informal group facilitation is usually a public venue, such as a bookstore, cafe, restaurant, library, shopping mall, or other public meeting place however an event may also be participated in on an energetic or spiritual level. The Facilitator is able to institute such a gathering on a regular basis and is able to facilitate and moderate a spontaneous spiritual discussion either of a preselected topic or of one selected by the group. The Facilitator does not lecture to the group but rather facilitates its philosophical/spiritual interchange and maintains its personal/spiritual growth character. The event facilitator holds both a loving presence of wisdom and provides a clear psychic environment within which that wisdom may prevail for the highest good of all concerned. The CA guidelines for informal group facilitation must be adhered to. Formal Facilitation The setting for formal group facilitation is usually a private venue (corporation, government organisation, or other private group). The purpose of a formal Cosmosis gathering is to participate in a structured and focused discussion leading to a common resolution or outcome trending towards new knowing and ongoing personal spiritual growth. The outcome of such gatherings should involve a win-win scenario for all concerned on both the Earthly and Spiritual levels. Formal events may be spiritual festivals, large gatherings to voice public opinion or may be an energetic linkup of souls in order to exert a wise loving influence on the events of our beloved Earth. Certification as a CA Master Event Facilitator Full Certification as a Master Event Practitioner will be granted to those Facilitators who can satisfactorily demonstrate the completion of at least two years experience as a Certified CA Event Facilitator and successful completion of the Advanced Diploma in Cosmosis Event Facilitation. The Advanced Diploma includes case studies of facilitated events and testimonials stating demonstrated refinement and growth of members of the groups worked with.
Certification Standards for Organisational Consultants Entry requirement for CA Group Practitioners is Certification as CA Client Counselor, Group and Event Practitioner. Certification as a CA Consulting Practitioner signifies basic competency minimally required to work with organisations philosophically, organisationally, spiritually and beyond. The minimum academic requirement for this certification is a Cosmosis Diploma in Event Facilitation. In addition to demonstrated competency in spiritual organisational philosophy, Certified Organisational Consultants must demonstrate:
The requisite skills and experience for this Certification as an Organisational Consultant can be acquired through a CA training program or by documentation of other appropriate training or experience. Documentation of other appropriate training or experience will be considered as recognition of prior learning at the discretion of the CA Faculty. Evidence of satisfactory demonstration of these skills may be established by successful completion of the formal Cosmosis Certification examinations. Master Certification will be granted to those Cosmosis Organisational Consultants who can demonstrate the satisfactory completion of at least two years experience as a Certified CA Organisational Consultant and successful completion of The Cosmosis Academy Advanced Diploma in Organisational Consulting. Certification Standards for Cosmosis Academy Affiliates
A CA Certified Affiliate is a spiritual practitioner in a recognised (e.g. licensed, certified, registered, accepted and/or proven etc.) spiritual field who sustains interests both in spiritual aspects of the given field, and in the philosophical applications within it, and who has completed a Cosmosis Academy Certified Affiliate program. Non-certified Affiliates (i.e. Advisory and Organisational Members) may neither explicitly nor implicitly misrepresent themselves as CA-certified Practitioners of any kind. Non-certified members who misrepresent themselves as CA-certified practitioners will be suspended or expelled from the Cosmosis Academy and The Insight Foundation, and may suffer further legal repercussions. |
