COSMOSIS Professional Certification Program (CCP)

All of our Mentors are Cosmosis Certified to at least Group Facilitator Level. 

Certification Program Objectives

 The primary goal of the Cosmosis Certification Program is to provide in-depth training in the Cosmosis principles, concepts and practical healing skills towards earning an internationally recognised certification. The health care environment is increasingly changing with more and more people open to different modalities of Alternative Medicine. As the public demand for holistic medicine increases, the need to acquire formal certification and accreditation has become essential.

 The Cosmosis Certification Program is a comprehensive training program designed with the following major objectives in mind:

     * To train and educate Cosmosis Healers to become proficient and confident in the art of transformation healing.

    * To instruct individuals in the principles and concepts of Cosmosis Healing and provide practical experience.

    * To encourage serious Cosmosis Healers to become members of a competency based internationally standardised group of certified Cosmosis Healers through the mechanism of the ongoing Cosmosis Accreditation Program (CAP).

 Secondary objectives of the Cosmosis Certification Program include the following:

     * To encourage interested individuals and healers to pursue and practice Cosmosis Healing as a career or to integrate it into their career,

    * To provide certified Cosmosis Healers with refresher review and update of the latest developments and advances in Cosmosis Healing, and

    * To increase the visibility and recognition of Cosmosis Healing through an increase of competent Cosmosis Healing Practitioners.

 The major approach of the Cosmosis Certification Program is to align the certification process with that of other professional regulating programs. The intention is to take the Certification Program to reach a large group of interested healers within society so as to accelerate the influence of Cosmosis Healers within and upon the creation of a new global love based paradigm.

 Cosmosis Program Participants

 The program is primarily targeted to healers, therapists, teachers, leaders and other interested individuals who would like to become more effective in or to expand their healing skills and responsibilities as a Cosmosis Transformational Healer.

 Program Prerequisites and Requirements

 The following requirements are needed to begin the Cosmosis Certification Program:

      Cosmosis on Self - Basic

      Cosmosis on Self - Advanced                                                                                                                                     

 Cosmosis Academy graduates in good standing (good standing implies conformance with the Insight Foundation Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct – http://theinsightfoundation.org.au/ethics.pdf) may apply for certification.

 There are five areas of certified practice:

 ·         client counseling practitioner

 ·         group facilitation practitioner

 ·         event facilitation practitioner

 ·         organisational consulting practitioner

 ·         certified affiliate

 
The CA offers two categories of certification in each of the practitioner areas:

 ·         Practitioner - a Practitioner may practice only under direct supervision from a Cosmosis Academy Mentor

 ·         Master Practitioner - a Master Practitioner may practice without the direct supervision of a mentor.

 All Certified Members are bound by The Insight Foundation Code of Professional Ethical Practice and voluntarily participate in ongoing peer based scrutiny so as to insure the highest standards of ethics and competency.

 Certification in Multiple Areas

 A member certified in one area of practice may seek certification in another area of practice, but must fulfill respective requirements. Certification in one area of practice does not automatically confer certification in another. You may progress from one practitioner level to the next without achieving the previous Master level however to apply for master practitioner certification you must already hold master practitioner certification for the preceding level. Members who become certified in more than one area do not pay multiple dues; they pay normal certified membership dues, independent of the number of areas in which they are certified.

 First Aid qualification

 A requirement for Cosmosis certification is a current HLTFA1A Apply Basic First Aid (or equivalent). Proof of current First Aid certificate must be produced prior to the award of certification.

 Method of learning and assessment

 The courses for Cosmosis Certification will be delivered using learning guides, online learning programs, handouts, manuals, CDs, DVDs and other material supplied by the Academy when you attend your intensive workshops. 

 Coursework will consist of lectures, tutorials, teleconferences, assignment and project work, practical demonstrations and role play , with significant emphasis on experiential learning.

 All assessment is set out in the overview to each competency or competencies which is provided to you at the commencement of each unit, workshop or class. All assessments will be marked either “competent” or “not yet competent.”

 Once this assessment has been successfully completed, you will receive a result which will count towards your qualification.

 Relation to Counseling and Facilitation

 Candidates for the progressive levels of advancing Certification must build upon the foundation of each stage of Cosmosis Facilitation. Certified Organisational Consultants must therefore be cross certified in Group/Event Facilitation and Client Counseling, the methods, skills and knowledge of these other certification areas are always relevant and sometimes essential to successive levels of competency.

 Academic Credentials

 The academic requirement for certification is successfully completing both the theoretical and practical components of the Cosmosis training. Applicants and certified members must also remain members of The Insight Foundation of good standing on a permanent and ongoing basis. To become certified, a candidate must be approved as competent by all CA Faculty members.  CA certificates will normally be valid for a period of up to two years, during which the holder may renew the primary certificate by renewing annual certified membership. However, a condition of certification is that the holder successfully passes the accreditation procedures at least every 2 years. Certificates held by persons who do not subsequently requalify for certification will normally expire after two years, and said holders will not be eligible to renew their certified memberships until such time as they choose to requalify for full certification. Extensions are possible on medical or compassionate grounds.

 Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), articulation and credit transfer

 The Cosmosis Academy has qualified assessors for recognition of prior learning (RPL). This process will be used for those students wishing to gain credit for previous studies, work and life experience. Students may apply to the Head of Faculty for an RPL assessment to determine the level at which the student will commence studies.

 
Pathways

 Students who have elsewhere completed the necessary Units of Competency for the Cosmosis Certification may gain articulation or credit transfer in any of the qualifications which offer those training package competencies.

  Ongoing Professional Development

 Certified CA Practitioners are expected to maintain awareness of (if not contribute to) salient developments in the field of Transformational Healing, and as such are expected to participate in regular educational and professional development. Such opportunities will be provided by the Cosmosis Academy and The Insight Foundation at least bi-annually.

 
 Teaching Obligations of Certified Cosmosis Practitioners

 Certified Cosmosis Practitioners are obliged to deliver the following Cosmosis courses free of charge to the general public at least three (3) times annually.

 ·         Cosmosis on Self Basic

 ·         Cosmosis on Self Advanced

 
Certified Cosmosis Practitioners are automatically certified as Cosmosis Mentors and within this capacity are encouraged to deliver all Cosmosis Training according to the scope of their certification within the Cosmosis Mentor Program. Maximum and recommended fees and charges for these mentoring services are set by the Cosmosis Academy and must be adhered to.

 Certification and Education

 The Cosmosis Academy has voluntarily chosen to adopt the accepted appropriate Australian Training Certification Standards, and offers educational programs to qualify practitioners for certification. Suitable educational programs (not leading to certification) are also offered so that individuals may establish a working understanding of the Cosmosis System of Transformation Alchemy for personal use.

 The Directors of The Insight Foundation (IF) in their capacity of our overlighting body appoint a Board of Professional Examiners in each area of certified practice, who will recommend candidates for certification to the IF Directors. To become certified, a recommended candidate must be approved by the IF Directors. Chairs of the Boards of Professional Examiners normally serve three-year renewable terms, but at all events serve at the pleasure of the Directors of the IF Insight Foundation.

 In keeping with its educational mission, the Cosmosis Academy will offer suitable educational programs to all its non-certified members, and will further disseminate educational and informational material to the entire membership through newsletters, electronic publications, and other media.
